Legal & Regulatory committeeThe Regulatory Sub-Committee was established in response to the development of an increasingly regulated international market. It aims to:
The Committee has established valuable contacts with national regulatory bodies and monitors the international issues surrounding the prevention of money laundering. It developed a Statement of Best Practice, which is incorporated in the Constitution and forms the cornerstone of the Association's commitment to standards of good practice. The Committee will monitor the progress and implications of forthcoming legislation in Europe, South Africa and the UK, while members continue to benefit from the invaluable opportunity to establish informal contacts within the industry. It also provides an invaluable forum to meet and share views, informally on any matters arising out of regulation or legislation.
